Enjoy the warm and welcoming ambiance of this Edwardian house interestingly decorated with an eclectic mix of work by South African artists and crafters.
Our two spacious en-suite rooms, one with both bath and shower, each lead on to a garden courtyard with a seperate guest entrance. Drink early morning coffee sitting in the sun in the privacy of this patio surrounded by basil and lavender bushes, scculants and climbing roses.
Both rooms have all the facilities for your comfort. A small collection of mostly South African books provide varied reading matter.
A good English breakfast, prepared to suit each guest, is served in the dining room which, like the rest of the house has the original oregon pine floors. The large sash windows afford a panoramic view over the town.
Situated in a quiet neighbourhood we are only an eight minute walk from the centre of town and a further five minute walk to Rhodes university and museums.
Relax on the front verandah with its views of the town and distant hills. Wander in the garden where many of the plants are indigenous to this area, enjoy the fish pond, sit in the shade of the 'tea house' and watch the birds.
